just read this quote from a book that i’ve promised to read until finish last semester, Principles of Economics by N. Gregory Mankiw.
in this book, it is argued that the quote can be used as a private weapon to internalize externalities. well, i have no intention, just yet, to explain about the meaning of this externalities. but what i’d like to emphasize is the quote itself. have you ever tried to think as the others? see using others eyes? feel what others may feel? it is a very hard think to implement i suppose. but i do believe that this is one way to make our life, and our world, better.
each israeli definitely doesn’t want to be ferociously bombarded, attacked, and destroyed, right? so why are they doing the exact aggression to other people? i wish that they could think before they do something, for just once. they seem to do just whatever they want to, without thinking the ‘excess-to-others’ that might happen. well, i hardly know what did they think before the attack. but i surely know that it is unacceptable, and must be stopped, as soon as possible.
**i wish that i could hope for those Israeli to apply the quote stated above, but i don’t know why, i couldnt do that
